Who we are
We are the generation that waited until the DJ stopped talking to hit record and play at the same time. We are the generation that can tell what song it is two seconds in. We are the generation that hit a button three times to get to the letter we wanted. We are the folks that communicated before text messages, twitter/x, but through the mixtape. There was one for each emotion, one for each stage, and one for each relationship. These are our stories. Let’s get in the time machine and remember who we once were.
Who I am
I am a girl who is reckoning with who she once was through music. Reintroducing the girl to the woman now in her 40s. The woman who transformed into the girl during the Oasis tour. The girl that knows where Usher was at 7 oclock on the dot. I am the girl that knows she isn’t alone - so take my hand and let’s do this.
